Ten Questions Brief

What do you need in a brief?

When you're asked to do something, there will be a set of criteria that are important for you to understand before you're truly motivated to get the task done.

This exercise helps you to figure out the things you need from a brief.

Instructions

There is a list of 'requests' in the worksheet below, pick one which you feel might be relevant to your job, or do a handful.

Download the worksheet, and write as many questions as possible, questions that you'd have for the person who made the request.

Do this a few times for different types of requests, and you'll likely find a common set of questions you might want to ask in every request that is made of you, or at least that you like to know before you get started
