Here's a little game to help you think of the skills, capabilities and type of people you value in a team.
By using an 'impossible' task as a brief, the exercise will help you think about what what skills you feel are neccessary, but also possibly show where you think you have gaps in your own skill set, or where your superpowers lie, if you don't need that skill from someone else.
It also can help you identify what type of people you often turn to or value in a team - do you always add a project manager? Do you always hope for a creative or a specialist as part of the team?
Dream up an impossible task, for instance, building a ladder to the moon, photographing silence, or time travel. Doesn't matter what the task is, just make it as impossible as possible.
Now, construct a team including you, five other people who you'd want on the crew to make this happen, along with why you've picked each person, and what they offer
Why did you pick these people? What skills do they offer, and how do they extend or support what you offer?
Reflect upon the skills you've listed, and see if any of these resonate as what you need in a team.
