Doodling is proven to help reach parts of the mind which are otherwise hidden behind all sorts of hang-ups. Try this simple exercise to see what comes.
Imagine you could create your own workspace - the ideal space for you to get your thing done.
What would it include? Where would it be? Would you be with others, or have a quiet space? Would there be unlimited coffee or plenty of sunshine? What are the things you'd have around you, the people you'd have around you, and the environment you'd most find productive to work?
This is a drawing challenge, so grab your notebook and pencils, crayons, paintbrushes, whatever you feel best allows you to flow.
Once you've drawn your space, look at the elements of your drawing. Spend some time reflecting upon why you've added these items - and if what they bring to a space is missing from your actual workspace.
