What things do you think are worth of recognising and celebrating at work, and how might you want them to be celebrated?
In the UK, we've just had an extended public holiday, celebrating our Queen's jubilee - with pageantry, concerts, street parties and extra time off.
Not everything requires that same level of celebration, but celebrating things at work are an important way of recognising effort.
Use this entry to share what things you feel deserve celebrating, and even make some suggestions as to how they could be celebrated.
1/ Think about some of the things you've done recently which made you proud. Were they recognised, and if so - how did that make you feel? If they weren't - what were they?
2/ Not everyone needs to be celebrated with lavish praise, think about what type of celebration is appropriate for you - praise, sharing, cake, what is the way of recognising your work that you'd find comfortable or acceptable?
3/ Think about how you celebrate or recognise the work of others - does it change by person? Are you aware of how they might want their recognitions celebrated?
